A: As we enter this new chapter of our business, we aim to continue providing the best youth sports management product on the market through innovation and the highest level of support for our partners, which requires significant investment and resources. Upon joining the Stack Sports team, we became part of an expansive ecosystem of tools that supports athletes, clubs, and associations from top to bottom every season. We are excited about the added value this will bring to your organization.
Q: Will I keep my existing functionality/ Will I need to change platforms?
A: You will not be switching platforms. As the flagship website, registration and league management tools provider of Stack Sports, we are thrilled that our customers can continue using the same tool and look forward to enhancements in the near future.
Q: Do I need to select a package?
A: No. Due to your existing partnership, you are being offered the Pro package at a reduced cost (zero dollar monthly subscription fee). The Pro package includes all of the existing tools, functionality, and the same best-in-class support. This is a one-time exclusive offer that is good for as long as you process registration on our platform.
Q: Will I still have access to support?
A: Yes. We will continue to be a customer-focused company. As a loyal and valued partner, we are excited to extend an exclusive offer to your organization. This guarantees the same service and support that our current partners have come to expect.
Q: Who pays the credit card processing rate, the league or the registering member?
A: The credit card processing rate is paid by the club, as it is with your existing account.
Q: Will my organization pay the monthly service fee?
A: No. As part of our one-time exclusive offer to existing partners, we are waving the monthly service fee for your organization as a “thank you” for your partnership and loyalty.
Q: How does the Service Fee work?
A: The Service Fee is paid by the registering member. This fee differs from our competitor’s registration fee because it is only paid once per transaction. For example, with Blue Sombrero, the registering member can sign up all three of their kids at one time and only pay one service fee. Alternatively, this fee would be charged multiple times for multiple player registrations elsewhere. Please note that with automatic recurring billing plans, the fee is paid with each transaction. For $0 registrations or paper registrations with check or cash payment, the transaction fee will still apply and will be deducted from weekly disbursment to the league.
Q: Can my league get this offer if we leave Blue Sombrero and come back?
A: This is a one-time exclusive offer. Unfortunately, if you choose to not accept at this time, we cannot extend this offer to you again in the future.
Q: My organization’s registration opens soon. Will members who sign up after December 4th get charged the service fee, while members who sign up before December 4th do not?
A: Yes. The new pricing model starts on December 4th, so please communicate with your members accordingly.
Q: What do I need to do to continue using Blue Sombrero and accept the new pricing?
A: No action is needed. To view the new pricing, terms, and conditions, visit your portal, review the pop-up message, and click “I acknowledge.”
