Cugini Summer Programs in the United States
AC Cugini is excited to announce special programming this summer for American youth to experience high-quality Italian training—in the United States or in Italy. Cugini's U.S.-based programs offer players the rare opportunity to learn Italian style soccer, without the expense of overseas travel. The Italy-based programs allow players the chance to add international training and playing experience to their soccer background. All participants in any Cugini programs are reviewed by professional scouts for Italian clubs. The most talented players are invited to attend formal tryouts in Italy.
With over 30 years experience advancing Italian player development and successfully building a network of top-level contacts at numerous professional Italian clubs from Serie A to Serie D teams, Cugini's native Italian instructors are uniquely qualified to arrange formal tryouts with Italian teams. Cugini officials also handle all translation needs and negotiations on behalf of American players and accompany players during their tryouts in Italy, including making all travel arrangements.
If you think you're talented enough to try out for a professional team in Italy or if you simply wish to have the rare opportunity to experience highly successful Italian training, consider joining a Cugini travel team in Virginia or registering for non Cugini member training camp outside Virginia. And feel free to contact us anytime to create a training program at your location for your team or organization.
All Cugini programs in the United States are conducted by UEFA-licensed instructors and guest trainers from the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI) and are sanctioned by CONI and the Italian Soccer Federation (FIGC). The summer technical program outside Virginia is created by taking into consideration the capability of each age group. The main focus of the training is to develop and enhance the individual player's technical/tactical awareness of the game—offensively and defensively—such as ball possession, passing, receiving, dribbling, and shooting.
