Tryouts for Fall 2009 Season5
Independent Teams Also Welcome!

Tryouts for Cugini travel teams for program year 2009-2010, beginning with Fall 2009 season are by appointment only in Reston. Please note we have very few open spots available as Cugini does not make its current players tryout for their spot every season! Cugini is a school first and foremost dedicated to working with each player every step of their developmental stages. We do not replace current players with  a "better" player just so the team can win!

We also welcome independent teams to fill our club's spots in WAGS, NCSL, and ODSL.

Outside Travel Teams Transferring to AC Cugini
As a young but growing organization, AC Cugini has a large number of open spots for entire teams in WAGS, NCSL, and ODSL each season—from age 8 through 1—which the club plans to fill. Cugini welcomes coaches and parents outside the club who have interest in forming new teams or bringing their current team to Cugini and working with us to teach more children the Italian Olympic Sanctioned player development program that has proven successful in Italy for generations. All Cugini teams practice and play home games in Reston.

Note:
Teams from outside Cugini have the option of joining Cugini's established 11-month travel program or designing their own training program, where they may continue to work with their current coach and trainer. Cugini provides free training and educational resources in Virginia to its coaches and trainers interested in learning Italian player development methodology as well as discounts on coach training courses in Italy sponsored by the Italian National Olympic Committee and the Italian Soccer Federation. All Cugini teams are automatically eligible for tournament play  in Italy each summer as well as review by scouts from professional Italian clubs.

Cancellations Due to Inclement Weather
Call the Cugini hotline: 866.792.9433 for practice / tryout cancellation notices due to inclement weather and field closings.
