General Program Information and Requirements for Players:

Season:

The Spring Season generally starts the first weekend in April. There are 8 weeks with an annual Soccerfest which concludes the season

 

The Fall Season is also 8 weeks and generally starts the first weekend in September.

 

Equipment:

Uniforms for the in-house program are supplied by Play2Wear located in Piazza Plaza on Route 19 near Domenicos restauant.  It is an additional cost not included in registration fees.  Travel Uniforms are typically different from in-house ones, and will be reviewed by your coach for further information and requirements. Please go to Play2Wear as soon as possible! All players must wear shin guards and soccer socks that fully cover their shin guards.  Soccer shoes are recommended for traction, but not required. Players should also bring a water bottle, and soccer ball.

 

Micro-U8 play with size 3 soccer ball, U10-U12 play with size 4 soccer ball, U14 and up play with size 5 soccer ball.  Dicks Sporting Goods usually has good starter packages of equipment available.

 

 

Equipment not permitted listed below is for all players safety - this is dictated by the PAWest and FIFA Rules of the Game:

 

NO BASEBALL CLEATS ARE ALLOWED

 

NO JEWELRY IS ALLOWED TO BE WORN

 

HOODED SWEAT SHIRTS WORN UNDER SOCCER JERSEY ARE NOT PERMITTED

 

Any players that arrive at the field with these items, will need these equipment problems corrected before entering the field of play. 

 

 

 

General Program Information:

 

If you are a zoominternet or nauticom internet user, please add our email address to your allowed senders list, or you might miss vital information sent from the website.

 

For In-House games per age group, the team schedule will list the home team and visiting team jersey colors.

 

In Soccer, the clock continues to run to the end of the period- there are no time outs, or stoppages of play as in other sports!  It is also an all weather sport, so we do play in the rain! 

 

In the event of lightning, games are stopped immediately and delayed in re-starting for a minimum of 30 minutes after the last lightning being sighted, games will be allowed to resume.
