SETTER'S EVENING CLINIC

June 22nd - June 24th, 2009

 

 

REGISTRATION ~ Monday, June 22nd

Check-in:                        

5:30-6:00pm Woodruff P.E. Center

Fourth Floor of the PE Center (top floor)

 

CHECK-OUT ~Wednesday, June 24th 

Camp will conclude Wednesday, June 24th at 9:15 pm.  

Parents are invited to attend camp at any time.

 

Daily Schedule:


June 22nd:  6:00 pm to 9:00 pm

4th Floor Woodruff PE Center
6pm: Welcome
6:15-9:00 pm: Skill work

June 23rd:
   6:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Woodpec Arena-1st floor
6pm: Opening Statements
6:10-9pm: Skill work

June 24th:   6:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Woodpec Arena-1st floor

6pm: Opening Statements
6:10-8:50pm: Skill work
8:50pm: Closing

Directions to the Woodruff Physical Education Center
From the south or north: on I-85, take the Clairmont Road exit. Turn east on Clairmont  towards Decatur and follow it approximately 3 miles to North Decatur Road. Turn right and follow North Decatur approximately one mile to the Emory campus.  Turn Right on Clifton Road and go past the Emory Hospital.  Make a left on to Asbury Circle (it will be Haygood going right) Follow Asbury Circle to the 2nd stop sign and go to the right when you hit the fork in the road that is Eagle Row.  Go approximately ¼ mile and at your 2nd stop sign will be the Peavine Deck that you can park in.  The gate will be open.  The Woodruff Physical Education Building will be on left across the street from the Peavine Parking Deck.

 

From the east or west: Via I-20, take the Moreland Avenue North exit. Turn north on Moreland and follow it approximately 3 miles, at which point it becomes Briarcliff Road. Continue straight on Briarcliff approximately 2 miles to North Decatur Road. Turn east (right) and follow North Decatur two approximately 1.5 miles and make a left on Clifton Road and go past the Emory Hospital.  Make a left on to Asbury Circle (it will be Haygood going right) Follow Asbury Circle to the 2nd stop sign and go to the right when you hit the fork in the road that is Eagle Row.  Go approximately ¼ mile and at your 2nd stop sign will be the Peavine Deck that you can park in.  The gate will be open.  The Woodruff Physical Education Building will be on left across the street from the Peavine Parking Deck. 

Parking:

Please park in the Peavine Parking Deck directly across from the Woodruff Physical Education Bld.  If the gates are down, press # as you pull up and identify yourself as a volleyball camper.  Parking passes will be given at Check-in for those driving to camp each day.

 

WHAT TO BRING TO CAMP

Volleyball shoes (non-marking soles), kneepads, water bottle, extra shirt and shorts if change is necessary.

 

HEALTH AND SAFETY

Drugs, alcohol, and tobacco products are strictly prohibited at all times.  The safety of each camper is of utmost concern.
