The 2009/2010 U7 age group is for players born between 8/1/02 and 7/31/03. No soccer experience is necessary. Fall registration covers the fall and spring seasons. We do offer “Spring Only“ registration beginning in February. (There is no “Fall Only“ registration.)

Players are assigned to a team with approximately ten other children. The team is led by a volunteer coach and assistance is welcomed.

U7 games are held on Saturday mornings at our Oak Park complex. Teams play 6 v 6 including a goalie. A U7 age group training session is conducted on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 7:30 at Shelter Cove during the season with professional soccer trainers. U7 training is led by John Crowley, Head Coach of High School South Girls Varsity.  He brings with him the Head Coaches of the other Toms River schools and teams as well as local talent from past players and college level coaches. There is an additional fee for the training session.

The Fall season starts the first Saturday after Labor Day. The Spring season starts in early April.

• All games are played at Oak Park.  Home team is listed first.
• Each game consists of four ten (10) minute quarters
• Teams field 6v6 (5 field players and 1 keeper)
• Cancellations due to field conditions or weather will be posted on www.trysc.com one (1) hour prior to the first game.
• It is the responsiblity of the home team coach to notify the away coach of any cancellations or reschedules.
• Referee Assignor must be notified 48 hours prior to any cancellation by any U7 team.  Failure to do so will result in the team cancelling the game paying the referees.
