Families are very busy these days and are searching for ways to spend more time together. 

 

We can help.  Join the BYSA team of parent volunteers and become a COACH.

 

BYSA is a family-oriented soccer league which focuses on enriching children’s lives through the game of soccer.  BYSA focuses on the children having fun while they learn soccer techniques in a non-competitive environment. 

 

Playing the game of soccer is yet another way to create that family bond with your children. Being your child’s coach, or teacher, can be one of the most rewarding experiences you can share with your child.  Your child probably won’t remember if they won or lost a game, but they will always remember that you were there supporting them every step of the way.

 

Don’t worry if you don’t know much about soccer or never played.  BYSA has resources at your disposal to help you along:

*** Minor REFEREES-- please register to volunteer under your parent/guardian's account ***

 

When registering as a volunteer, choose the division you wish to volunteer for, not the waiting list option.

 

If you wish to coach, the HEAD COACH can list the name of an assistant coach to work with.  When the ASSISTANT COACH signs up, make sure to match up the practice days with those of the HEAD COACH.

 

 

When Volunteer does NOT have an account(MINORS wishing to referee must sign up under PARENT/GUARDIAN account:

1. Click on Register

2. Fill out Primary Account Information and click Next.

3. On the Participant Information screen click on My Account button in upper left corner.

4. On the My Account screen, click on the Green Button “Sign up for new volunteer role”.

5. Click on the check box next to the Program that you wish to volunteer for and click on “View Volunteer Positions”.

6. Click on the check box next to the Volunteer Role(s) that you wish to volunteer and click Next.

7. Fill out ALL required fields and ANY optional fields desired and click Next.

8. You will be taken back to the My Account screen and the Volunteer’s name will now appear in the volunteer section.

 

When Volunteer ALREADY has an account:

1. Log into BYSA account

2. On the My Account screen, click on the Green Button “Sign up for new volunteer role”.

3. Click on the check box next to the Program that you wish to volunteer for and click on “View Volunteer Positions”.

4. Click on the check box next to the Volunteer Role(s) that you wish to volunteer and click Next.

5. Fill out ALL required fields and ANY optional fields desired and click Next.

You will be taken back to the My Account screen and the Volunteer’s name will now appear in the volunteer section. The Volunteer will now be eligible for you to allocate to a team.
