Bedford's Fall Rec program involves nearly 1,400 community children. The program is designed to help children learn the game of soccer and develop their soccer skills in a non-competitive team environment. Children between the ages of five and eighteen (grades Kindergarten to twelve) are eligible to participate. The Division groups are Kindergarten, First Grade, Grades 2/3 Boys and Girls, Grades 4/5 Boys and Girls, Grade 6/7/8 Boys and Girls, and High School. Children must be 5 years of age by Sept. 1 to enroll in the program.
The season runs for eight consecutive weeks and typically begins the weekend after Labor Day. Please click on Calendar to see this year's schedule. All age groups practice one hour per week and play one game on Saturday. In keeping with the Fall Rec's non-competitive philosophy, all children have the opportunity to play a minimum of two quarters of every game. These games allow every player many opportunities to touch the ball and improve their basic soccer skills.
The Fall Rec Program is open to Bedford residents only. Registration for Fall Rec Soccer occurs in the spring. To learn more about registration, please click on Register Now.
The League is run by volunteers -- we need and welcome every parent to help with coaching, assistant coaching, or other league activities. Our motto is to "play safe, play fair, have fun."
