Save the date!
The 2009 Coed Cup is set to kick off on October 23-25, 2009 in Dallas , Texas. The USASA established the Coed Cup in 1999 to provide a national competition for the coed soccer players in the United States . There will be an Open (no age restriction), Over 30, and, if there is enough interest, an Over 40 competition.
In the Open event there will be three different divisions to reflect the diversity of the USASA’s coed teams: First Division (highest level - very competitive); Second Division (middle level - competitive); and Third Division (less competitive/just for fun). The Over 30 and Over 40 competitions will probably have just one open division.
Why should your team go to this event?
* To participate in the only national competition for USASA affiliated coed teams
* Low entry fee if you sign up early ($350 – a bargain)
* Three games minimum
* To play against different teams (in league play and local events you play the same teams over and over again)
* To see how well you stand up to the competition in other coed leagues
* To visit a new place and get away for just one weekend (airfare to Dallas is inexpensive)
* Hotel room is just $79 per night (plus taxes)
* Some guest players will be allowed, so you can bring friends in case you can’t get all of your regular players to go (policy to be posted soon – all players must be registered with USASA)
* To meet new friends and have fun

THE GEAR IS ON ITS WAY!

Thank you to everyone who particpated in the Music City Cup and donated to support our troups and soccer in Afghanistan. Ben delivered the gear to Brentwood Methodist and it is being taken to Ft. Campbell where it will be delivered to Captain Collins' Unit in Afghanistan. Ben said his entire truck bed and the cab inside were full. This would not have been possible without everyone's help.
THANK YOU!
Check out the tournament photos!
Congradulations to all our Champions!
