The Murray-Calloway County Soccer Association; and the City of Murray, Kentucky, is pleased to invite your team to participate in the 1st Annual Spring Shootout Soccer Tournament to be held March 21-22, 2009 in Murray, KY.

This is a USYSA tournament sanctioned through the Kentucky Youth Soccer Association. All teams must be in good standing with their state associations. Player passes, state-approved rosters, permission-to-travel forms (out-of-state teams only) and notarized medical release forms will be required for all teams. Up to three USYSA registered guest players may be added to a team roster.

The entry fee is $350 for U-9/U-10 teams, $375 for U11/U12 and $400 for U13-U19 and $400 for U12 11v11, with each team guaranteed a minimum of three games. The tournament is open to all teams of boys and girls in age groups U-9 through U-18 and girls U19. Single-year age groups will be included where the number of teams playing permits; otherwise, the committee reserves the right to combine age groups by dual-year brackets. Participation awards will be given to all U-9 and U-10 players and individual awards will be given to first- and second-place finishers in all divisions, U9 – U19. Team trophies will be awarded for first- and second-place finishers in U9 –U18 divisions. The tournament committee reserves the right to shorten or cancel games due to inclement weather. Once a team is accepted into the tournament the entry fee is nonrefundable.

Please return the application with your entry fee postmarked by February 25, 2009. Applications can be obtained on www.tcsportzevents.com, select the tournament tab from the menu bar. Roster changes can be made up to the time of check-in, but only players who are on the roster and approved at the check-in will be allowed to participate.
