This is a message for the tournament and the parents of the kids that were in the tournament. Flash Forward, the company that did the team pictures on t-shirts, had some unfortunate events happen, 2 hurricanes, hit us and put production to a complete stop. We are finally back up and running and have completed all of the orders that were turned in at the tournament and are currently working on the orders that were mailed in to us. Thank you for the patience that you have had with us in this troubling time. We just wanted for the tournament and the parents to feel at ease with knowing that we are working on getting all the parents and most importantly the kids, their products. Thanks.             Invitation to the 2008 Frank J. Muhl Memorial Soccer Tournament

 

 

                            When:   Labor Day Weekend, August 29th –August 31st, 2008

 

                        Where:  Wadsworth, OH (15 miles west of downtown Akron)

 

                      Fees:     U9 - $325, U10 - $375, U11-12 - $400, U13-14 - $425

           

                                  Application DEADLINE:   August 17, 2008

           The 2008 Tournament Committee invites your TEAM/CLUB to submit entries for

           participation in the 19th Annual Frank J. Muhl Memorial Soccer Tournament.

 

           Competition will begin on Friday, August 29, 2008 and all final games will be

           completed on Sunday, August 31,2008  NO MONDAY GAMES!

 

                      Each participating team will play in a minimum of 3 games!

                      Each player will receive a tournament patch and souvenir program!

                      Participation Awards will be presented to all U9 players

                      Champion and Finalist awards will be presented to all U10 –U14 age groups

 

           Applications will be accepted from boys and girls teams that are duly registered

           with their respective state or national association.  USSF affiliated teams not

           under affiliation with a US Youth Soccer state association are permitted provided

           proper documentation is submitted.  Up to 3 guest players will be permitted to

           participate on a team. All guest players will be required to meet all eligible player

           requirements including having a current player card, a validated team roster and

           have a birth date appropriate for their designated age group and players can

           only play on their affiliated USSF teams.

           

         U9 -10 teams will play 6v6, U11-12 will play 8v8 and U13-14 will play 11v11 games

 

          Housing:  Please see our website @ www.wadsworthsoccer.info  for a list of

                        sponsoring hotels. Rooms have been blocked under WASA/Frank J

                        Muhl Memorial Soccer Tournament.  Please mention this name to

                        obtain all available discounts.

 

          Attractions:  4th Annual Coaches Muhl Cup Classic Game, Friday, August 29, 2008

                            @ 7:30pm on the MAIN field at Muhl Park UNDER THE LIGHTS. All registered team

                             coaches are invited to compete against Wadsworth coaches/board

                             members/guests of Wadsworth in a friendly 60-minute official soccer game under the  

                             LIGHTS. Team jerseys and awards to both teams!

       

        *  DUNK TANK (Dunk your coach!)   * Skills Challenge TENT with Columbus Crew reserve players

             *  Jupiter BOUNCE tent for anyone 12 and under  *  50/50 Raffle

          *  Shuttle service TO/FROM local hotels  *  All registered coaches are entered into the COACHES

              raffle for prizes on Saturday!
