The Dana Jenkins Softball Camp has become a successful and competitive camp at Furman University. This year there will be one week of softball camp, Sunday June 14th through Thursday June 18th. There are three different types of campers for this one week of camp: junior campers, senior commuters campers, and senior overnight campers.
Junior campers are girls from the ages of 5 to 10. These girls are beginners or intermediates in the game of fastpitch softball. Their camp day will be from 8:30am to 3:30pm and lunch will be provided for them. These campers are the equivalent to the day campers of previous years. Junior campers will be evaluated and grouped according to skill and age. All activities and instructional sessions will be age appropriate.
Senior commuter/senior overnight campers are from the ages of 10 to 18. These campers include all skill levels. The senior commuter campers' day will be from 8:45am to 8:30pm and lunch and dinner will be provided for them. Senior commuter campers are responsible for their transportation to and from camp each day. Senior overnight campers will stay on campus in a residence hall. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided for the overnight campers. These campers will be evaluated and grouped according to their skill level.
