Volunteer Positions:

 

Team Managers

Responsible for coordinating team schedule and other administrative activities.  The team managers will be responsible for attending monthly club meetings (or manager meetings.) 

 

Field Preperation:

A team of parent volunteers that organize the set up and tear down of fields at the beginning and end of the fall and spring seasons. Through the course of the season, this team will need to re-secure nets to goals that become loose. This team will be part of the planning & implementation of the MDT.  This team will report to the vice president of the club.

 

Equipment Management.

This individual will be responsible for ensuring all teams have equipment for the season: corner flags, first aid kits, ice packs and corner stakes. This individual is responsible for managing an organizing club storage shed. The position also will work close with the MDT team. The position will report the vice president of the club.

             

Fund Raising:

A team of parent volunteers that organize and coordinate various fund raising initiatives.  Examples include:     Joe Corbi's Pizza, Soccer Thon, Car Washes, Holiday Gift sales.  this team will report to the president with direct links to the club treasurer

         

Social Functions

Social/Picnic/Tailgate Parties/Golf tourney/Trips A team of parent volunteers that organize various social activities for the club.  Examples include tailgate parties, block parties, Golf tournaments, trips, etc.  The objective of this team is to create and organize fun events that build membership loyalty from both the players and parents.  The events can be both with or with out kids.  This committee will report to the president of the club.

 

Web Site        

Team will maintain, update and improve website. Reports to the Secretary of theclub.

           

Club Communication : 

Individual(s) individual is responsible for coordinating club articles b/w teams and with the local papers.  This individual(s) will also be responsible for writing updates (short articles) for the website and club newsletter that is featured on the club website.  These individual(s) will report to the club secretary.

 

Club Development / Marketing       

This team of members will be responsible for improving the awareness of the club within the community. (Actually--could be combined with township out reach.) The committee would be responsible for sourcing idea that may be executed by this committee or a combination of others that willdevelop a positive image for theclub within the townships. Ideas include: the St. Barnibus Children's cancerprogram and contribution, SAGE, Cougar Kicker Ambassador program, High Schoolgames (Ball Boys), etc. This committee will report to the executiveboard

           

Team Photo:

The individual will beresponsible for organizing the annual team photos for the club. The task willrequire coordinating the photo sessions with the team managers andthecollection ofmonies and distribution of photos through the team managers.This position will report to theclubsecretary.

           

League Representative :

The Club  League representative shall process and address all applications of prospective  club teams with NCSA .   The league rep serves as a conduit b/w the league and club communicating updates, meetings and deadlines. The league rep submits all game change requests.  The league rep is responsible submitting team flighting and home schedule submissions.  The league rep is responsible for updating all records into he NCSA website. The league rep reports to the Vice President

 

Games & Practice Scheduling : 

This individual works closely with both the township rec departments and the other soccer programs in town.  This position is responsible for scheduling practice and games.  They are responsible for producing a home games schedule to illustrate available fields.  This individual works close with the league representative.  This individual is responsible for field condemnation the result of poor field conditions the result of weather.  This person is responsible to notify membership when fields are not playable.  This position needs to submit all requests for fields with the townships and school board.  This position is also responsible for scheduling winter training space at the schools.  This position reports to the Vice President. 

 

Winter Tournament Committee :

Organizes the winter tournament play within our local gyms during the months of Jan/Feb

 

Memorial Day Tournament Committee :

Enough said!

 

Township Outreach 

(combined with the Club Development / marketing committee. 

 

Field/Turf Community Project :

Organizes the Chyzowych re-beautification project to clear the field of brush to expend its use for the club.

 

Medical (CPR Training, Nutrition, Basic First Aid) :

Someone from the medical field that can teach our coaches basic CPR and first aid.
