4:45pm–5:45pm or 6:00pm-7:00pm (both on Thursdays)

Cost: $40 per player

About the Clinics
The goalkeeper is perhaps the most demanding position in every soccer team. In addition to playing on the goal line, to be effective, the goalkeeper must participate in the prevention of the development of goal scoring chances both inside and outside of the penalty area. Southbury Soccer Goalkeeping Clinics provide players with the opportunity to advance their individual skills and learn the tricks of the trade, in a fun and challenging environment. The program is aimed at competitive goalkeepers playing at or above U8 level. The curriculum is delivered by Weston Pro Soccer and incorporates all elements of the goalkeeper's role. These include, starting position, hand shapes, footwork, shot stopping, angles, distribution, decision making and communication with teammates.
