Fairfield SAY Referees


Adults and teens that have met all eligibility requirements will begin overseeing games August 15.  Teens will officiate younger divisions based upon experience, test scores, and comfort level.  Notification of assigned game times and locations will be done via e-mail, so please check your e-mail daily.  Please confirm or decline appointments within 24 hours of notification.  Compensation is based upon division.

The Fairfield SAY Quick Guide is a reference that defines the basic differences between divisions.  Questions such as ball size, referee fees, ages per division, and others are answered here.
 
 
 

    Uniform Criteria

        SAY soccer officials should have the following:

  • Gold/Yellow shirt
  • Black shorts
  • Black socks with 3 white stripes
  • Predominantly black shoes
  • SAY official's patch
  • Whistle
  • Stop watch
