General Meeting Minutes August 11, 2009
Attendance: Sherri Schloss, Dusty Terill, Tracy Goebel, Brian Billings, John Kraft, John Wilson, Mel McCrory, Brian Patterson, Rick Rodgers, Frank Muhl, Michael Porpora, Jody Potts-Hayes, Bobby Karnuth.
· Motion to approve July Meeting minutes made by Rick Rodgers second by Mel McCrory – motion passed
Presidents Report:
High School will repair damage to fields that was caused be them, and would like to make their own decision if fields are playable or not regardless if WASA has closed them.
· Motion made to allow High School to use their judgment on field usage when closed by WASA. High School to repair damage to fields as a result. Jody Potts-Hayes second. Rick Rodgers and Sherri Schloss against. Frank Muhl in favor (break the tie). Motion passed
High School would like to have access to concession stand and garage for storage.
· Motion made to not allow High School to use concession stand/garage by Rick Rodgers. Mel second. Motion passed
City getting pricing on chip and seal and drainage for parking lot.

In-House Director Report:
Suggest adopting an academy style program with eight 3V3 games for U5 and 4v4 for U6 and eight practices. Academy to be on Tuesday nights at 6:00. WASA coaches may have more practices if desired. Scott Simpson will be directing. Program to be called WASA Grizzly Cub Academy.
· Motion made to approve change of WASA in-house U5 and U6 program to academy style and call it WASA Grizzly Cub Academy. Made by Rick Rodgers second by Mel McCrory. Motion passed.
Coach and Player Development Director Report:
We will be bringing in Andrew Tipton, the high school freshmen trainer, to replace Ross as our trainer. Will check credentials

Treasure Report:
Registration down by about $4,000.00 from last season, but have checks to go in the system.
Tournament Chair Report:
Earned $822.00 from British Challenger camp. There will be $722.00 to deposit after lunch is deducted.
Hands on Soccer camp had 23 campers. We should receive a check for $254.00.
NOESA camp canceled.
Tournament has 30 teams registered. Registration ends August 15th. Still need sponsors for the program. We have items for coach’s drawings. Need volunteers for registration that have previous knowledge.
Fundraising Chair Report:
Golf outing has been postponed to Sunday September 20th.
Tribe tickets to be raffled off – waiting on more information.
