Below is a message from the Canton Cup Tournament Director regarding registration for the 2010 tournament. Each SCOR team (at U9 and above) playing in the spring 2010 season is responsible for registering for the 2010 Canton Cup Tournament (typically completed by either the head coach or team manager).  The U8 teams do not participate in tournaments at this time and need not register.

You can register by following the link provided below.  Because the tournament director has graciously agreed to allow SCOR to pay with one check for all registered teams, I also ask that you do not pay when registering.

Please register your team prior to January 15, 2010, to ensure we take advantage of the discounted pricing.  Any team that registers after the January 15th early-registration deadline will be responsible for paying the difference in cost for the tournament fees (SCOR will pay the discounted price and your team will pay the remaining balance).

If you have any questions regarding this tournament, please contact Aaron Daane, SCOR Director of Coaching, at doc@scorsoccer.net.

We are now accepting applications for the 2010 Canton Cup. As you are aware from past participation, we are known for having one of the best ran and organized tournaments in the Midwest, while still offering a competitive experience for teams of all levels. Expect nothing less for this year....we fully anticipate the 2010 tournament to be our best ever. Please visit our new and improved Website at www.cantoncup.net for more information and a link to the registration page. There is discounted pricing for all teams who register and pay before January 15th. In addition, Recreational teams have reduced pricing for 2010 for the duration of the registration process. We fully expect this years tournament to have the much more participation from the recreational side. The 2010 Canton Cup will continue to offer multiple divisions within each age group for the Select and Premier side ensuring equal competition for all teams participating. New for this year, we are introducing the Celtic Invitational at the Canton Cup for all those Elite teams. You must contact the Tournament Director for more information regarding the invitational side of the tournament. We are looking forward to your return this year to the Canton Cup. From all your friends at the Canton Cup, we wish everyone a Happy Holiday Season. Regards, John Vaughn Tournament Director TD@cantoncup.net

NEW!

The Soccer Club of Rockford is happy to introduce our new community forums for SCOR club members!

We hope this addition to our online presence will provide members with club-wide communication and promote ongoing forum activity from registered users.

Since the forums are hosted by forumotion.net, you will need to create a separate user account to participate in the forums.  While we understand asking you to create a new user account on the forums may seem redundant, it is important to note that by doing so, SCOR can actively monitor user permission requests and authorize only those users that are validated by the forum administrators.

Currently, the forums have two site administrators:
Paul Pate - SCOR Website Administrator & Rom Elwell - SCOR President.
Our administrators and forum moderators will make every effort to ensure forum content remains family-friendly at all times.

So, you ask, how can you access the forums?

Under the SCOR banner, click on the word 'Home' in the menu bar, then click on 'SCOR Forums', as seen in the image below.  You will then be redirected to the SCOR Forums.
