2009 – 2010 INDOOR SOCCER ONLINE REGISTRATION WILL OPEN
October 1st!!!
REGISTER & PAY ONLINE THROUGH NOVEMBER 7th

Boys and girls from kindergarten through the sixth grade this fall may register.   Participants must be 5 years old by August 31st, 2009.  Registration fee is $45. Parents, be sure to check off a volunteer activity if you wish to help in any way.  A successful season will depend on the number of volunteers we have in the program.  Remember, you do not have to know anything about soccer to coach or help.  Additional information for the indoor soccer league can be obtained by calling Jeff Brady @717.235.3783.
All games are played on Sunday afternoons starting in early December at the Southern Elementary School Gymnasium and Friendship Elementary School Gymnasium.  We expect to play eight games this season (weather permitting). 
Registrations after November 7th will be assessed a $10.00 late fee.  No registrations will be accepted after November 25th.

MDSL now offers the convenience of online registration with online payment options. Just go to: REGISTER On-Line (First Time User). The “Register” tab is located in the upper left hand corner of our home page.  Fill out all required parent/player information and desired online payment method (credit card preferred, checks accepted.) You will get confirmation of your registration and receipt of your payment via email.  Players will be contacted in early December with team assignments and game schedules. Online registration is required (MDSL is no longer accepting paper registrations). You will need an email address to register online. If you do not have an email address you can create a free email account at various websites such as, hotmail.com or yahoo.com, or you can use a family member’s email address.

IM game cancelations due to bad weather will be posted here. 

Away travel games are canceled by the host team. Always rely on your coach for home travel cancelations. We will post as many decisions as we can here on the site.

***The Third Grade Tournament will NOT be at Hametown. The field is flooded. It will be at Miller Park UPPER field which is behind the YMCA and Library in Shrewsbury.

***The 6th and 7th Grade Tournament will NOT be at Miller Park LOWER field due to flooding. It will be at Sweeney Park which is behind the Shrewsbury Fire Hall

Please note that MDSL is currently looking for a volunteer to become our Indoor Soccer Coordinator.  This is a board position with voting privileges.  Responsibilities include creating teams, creating schedules, placing uniform orders and submitting facility request forms.  MDSL would like a volunteer to work with our present Indoor Soccer Coordinator this season and learn what is required to run the Indoor Soccer Program.  The Indoor Soccer Program has been very successful and has introduced many of our Outdoor Intramural and Travel players to soccer over the years.  If MDSL cannot get a volunteer to run this program, its future will be in jeopardy.  Please consider volunteering a few hours of your time weekly over the winter season to support this fine program. Thank you!!

We have few volunteers and the same generous people devoting a ton of their time trying to make everything work to the best of their abilities. If you have concerns, ideas, suggestions to improve things please join our team. We would love to have you spear head something to help us improve and continue the work we do to make MDSL possible. Thanks in advance!

  Calling for Coaches   Minimize
   

As always we will need coaches especially for IM. It is a rewarding and fun job especially if you have students interested in the sport. It can be a positive bonding experience for you and your child not to mention you can have tons of fun together.

 

You do not need to have a high level of experience in soccer. We just need you to enjoy volunteering your time for the kids. There will be a coach’s clinic and there is always much information available to help with this task. Please look over the board members page to find the appropriate contact information for the age group in which you would like to apply.

Mason Dixon prides itself on good sportsmanship, love of soccer and to generate a greater interest in the sport in a fun and comfortable environment for all players and their families.

PLEASE DO NOT DOUBLE REGISTER
This causes a problem with your existing account. If you lose your username and password you can retrieve it at log in by using the email you used for registration! To register an existing participant into a new program first log on to your account and then click on Register Now! - located in the upper left hand corner. Simply follow the instructions. You will only be able to register for current open programs. To add another member of your family into your existing account first log on and then hit Add Participant. This is located below and to the right of your name and address. If you would like to edit information to your account log on and then click the yellow edit box to make any necessary changes. If you are still experiencing problems click on email: Parent Support under Blue Sombrero located to the left of this page. Thanks!
