common issues
ACCOUNT INFORMATION
1.
Don’t
create a new account if you have registered online with Blue Sombrero before.
This creates trouble with registration
where there are multiple accounts for the same player.
2.
Forgot password/userid, click on forgot password
and Blue Sombrero will email it to you.
3.
Email change/call Lisa at 278-1182 Mon-Thurs 4pm-7pm
and she can change your email so it will come back to you. She cannot tell you your password.
4.
when registering for the 1st time the
primary account name is the parent not the player
5.
“EDIT” the account information, update phone
numbers/address etc.. everything you put in the account information is pulled
to get information to you and your child assigned to a team.

Hit “add participant” to put other children in
for registering.
7.
Make sure your child’s birthdate is CORRECT,
birth certificates are verified and an error here could result in your child’s
soccer play being delayed for the season while it is all fixed.

On the additional participation page, be sure to
write in your coaches name for core players and requested coach for new players
(not guaranteed)

Requested Field practice times need to be
spelled out as six not 6:00 etc. (not guaranteed)

You will need your child’s last tetanus shot,
insurance information and read the medical release.
12.
Please sign up to volunteer as coach, asst coach
or around the club. We need volunteers!!!
13.
After clicking on next, should you get the error
“field required” go back and click on the fields to highlight them (there are
usually 4 fields) then hit next and it should go through.
PAYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

On the payment page, if paying by credit card,
your name and billing address have to match in the payment area with the credit
card number.

If paying by check, your payment must reach the
club within 5 days of registering.
Players will not be rostered to a team until payment is made. THIS
INCLUDES CORE PLAYERS. Your core player will LOSE their priority
placement on their team if payment is not made.
16.
Complete the registration by clicking on submit
and getting a confirmation number.
You WILL NOT BE REGISTERED if you don’t
complete the process all the way through.

Choose OL if you want your home fields to be at Oakleaf.
DON’T FORGET TO UPDATE YOUR PLAYER’S UNIFORM SIZE
We will be using the uniform sizing information in the online registration system to order uniforms for the Fall.
Dennis Viollet and Oakleaf Programs:
U05-U19 Recreational Soccer Fall Season:
Our Recreational soccer program is the foundation of our club and is designed to encourage our players to develop a passion for the game of soccer. Younger players are allowed to explore soccer through small sided games. Parent volunteer coaches are supported by our club professionals.
U14-U19 Recreational teams will be registered in NFYSL. Travel to other NFYSL clubs will be required.
U10-U12 Recreational teams have the option of registering in NFYSL.
Dennis Viollet Soccer Complex at Eagle Harbor Programs:
U08 Club Honors Program Fall Season :
Cost: $50 a season in addition to the recreational registration fee.
Select U08 players who have been identified as outstanding soccer players will be invited to participate in a special weekly training session and inter-squad games.
U09-U10 Academy Full Year Program:
Cost: $452 a year (Fall and Spring). Uniform extra.
The Academy’s focus is on developing individual soccer skills with training during the week from the CCSC coaching staff. This intensive program is designed for the player who desires to play and/or develop the skills for Premier Soccer and above. The players are encouraged to train and excel at their own pace. Players will work directly with our professional trainers.
All players are welcome. There are no try outs for the Academy program.
The Academy is a full year commitment.
Teams will be registered in NFYSL. Travel to other NFYSL clubs will be required.
U11-U12 Developmental League Full Year Program:
Cost: $452 a year (Fall and Spring). Uniform extra.
The purpose of this program is to continue the development of players so that they can continue to compete for roster positions on Premier and school teams.
Players must be evaluated and graded in order to participate in this program. Not all players will be accepted. If a player tries out for the U11 or U12 Premier teams and is not selected, the result of their Premier team try out will be used to determine their participation in this program.
The Developmental program is a full year commitment.
Teams will be registered in NFYSL. Travel to other NFYSL clubs will be required.
Recreational/Academy/Developmental Uniforms:
The club will be adopting a new uniform at the Dennis Viollet Eagle Harbor Soccer Complex in the Fall.
We are already using this new uniform at Oakleaf.
The uniform will cost $40. Two jerseys, shorts and socks.
U11-U18 Premier League Full Year Program:
Premier ‘s Scope and Focus:
Our Premier program prides itself in the development of its players. Past players have signed to play with Division II teams as well as participated in the USSF Residency Programs in Bradenton, FL.
Premier Player Development:
The Development of today's players comes from two-areas, training and playing the game. The Premier Program trainers and coaches understand the developing needs of the competitive player. Players receive in depth technical and tactical training. The execution of these skills only occurs with a high level of competition. Our Premier teams compete against the best teams in Florida and the Southeast. Premier players find themselves well prepared to compete for roster spots on their junior high and high school teams.
Premier Tryouts:
You make a Premier team by attending our tryouts. The process is competitive in nature. Spots are earned through two to three days of observation by professional Coaches and Trainers.
Premier Commitment:
Being on a Premier team is a full year commitment. Each team will practice a minimum of twice a week with one game each weekend of the 10 week Fall and 10 week Spring season. Premier games are split between home games at the CCSC Dennis Viollet fields and the various league team sites in Duval and St. John's County. You can also expect to play in at least one tournament in the Fall and in the Spring. All of the Clay County Premier teams are entered into either the Region or State Cup.
Volunteers:
As a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, Clay County Soccer Club depends soley on its volunteers to ensure the operation and success of the club. Volunteers are needed in the following areas: Registration, Field Coordinator, Coach Recruitment, Disciplinary Committee, Recreational Committee, Fundraiser, TOPSoccer, Tournaments, Age Group Coordinators, and Coaching.
Coaches:
All Recreational soccer coaches are volunteers. Soccer experience is NOT required. CCSC will provide guidance and training. To learn more about being a CCSC coach, please email recreationdirector@claycountysoccer.com
