Welcome! Home of Big Lake Soccer. Stand Tall - Stand Proud!

Mission: To foster, promote and perpetuate the game of soccer for youth in the community. We offer recreational and competitive teams with the intention of administering proper training for players and coaches. We also offer players the opportunity to develop their soccer skills and sportsmanship, and strive to prepare the players to compete at the highest level they are capable of.

Remember

The game is for the kids. Let them play it! Parents, that means keeping a positive attitude and letting the coach- coach and ref run the game. Keep your comments constructive! Don’t yell advice from the sideline -- and often your advice contradicts that of the coaches. If you are in doubt, ask the coach what to yell and cheer for. And refer to our Parent and Player Code of Conduct.

Remember to have fun!

BLSA is proud to announce that the Fall 2009 Boys U9 team was named as an OATHS (Outstanding Ambassadors of Teams Honoring Sportsmanship) winner from MYSA.
This award recognizes those teams whose players, coaches and spectators exhibit good sportsmanship throughout the season.  Referees are asked to evaluate each team and then the scores are totaled at the end of the season.  There is 1 award for each age group in both boys and girls for the whole state!
Each player received a certificate and a pin and the team received $50 in "soccer cash" that can be used at Soccer USA stores in the metro.
Congratulations Boys!
