Creating custom registration questions is a great way to replicate your club’s current registration form. Blue Sombrero already provides a list of default questions (Emergency Contact Info, Allergies, etc). for you to choose to display or require while setting up your program. However, there may be some questions that your club would like to ask that fall outside of our default list.

We recommend using the Add new/Edit field link to formulate your custom questions at the program level:

You will have the option of selecting different field types that offer different formats of how the questions and answers can be displayed.

Types of Custom Questions:

Text Box - this will create a plain field the customer can type into next to the question.

Combo Box - this will be a drop down box that provides the customers with a list of answers.

List Box - this will formulate the answers in a list that the customer can scroll through, however, this not a commonly used option.

Check Box - this will create small boxes next to the answer options where the customer can put a check in as many boxes as they would like.

Radio Button - this creates small circles next to the answer options where only one option can be selected - selecting another option deselects the one previously chosen.
