Atlanta, GA, September 1st, 2010 - September is National Youth Soccer Month, and Blue Sombrero is celebrating its dedication to supporting youth soccer around the country. What are you doing to celebrate?

Whether or not you already have plans, you can celebrate with us!

In honor of Youth Soccer Month, Blue Sombrero is holding a contest for the Club of the Month.  Let us know which youth soccer club is your favorite and why, and we’ll announce the winner at the end of the month! Voting is easy and only takes a minute.

To cap off the month, we’ll be hosting a Youth Soccer Month Party for all Directors of Coaching, Club Administrators, Staff Members, and Board Members to promote the four fundamentals of Youth Soccer Month - Family, Friendship, Fun, and Fitness. The party will be held at the Blue Sombrero headquarters in Atlanta at the end of the month.

We’ll announce the winner of the Club of the Month at the party, and our keynote speakers will include Jon Rydarowski, co-author of the book, The Family Guide for the College Soccer and Scholarship Journey, and Billy Hartman, CEO and Founder of the adidas International Training Program. They’ll speak about family journeys in soccer, the college recruiting process, and opportunities for international training.

The event will be catered by Vickery’s at Glenwood Park in East Atlanta. There will also be a foosball/table soccer/futbolito tournament, which you’ll be able to sign up for when you arrive. Stay tuned - registration will open soon!
