We all do it, delete something by accident and then the panic sets in!  Now restoring a deleted or archived account is just a couple of clicks.

What does deleting or archiving do?

First of all, deleting and archiving are synonymous when it comes to User Accounts.  Here’s what happens when you delete/archive a user account:

• The user account is disabled and the user cannot login
• Newsletters (Bulk Emails) sent out will not be sent to the archived user
• The user is removed from listings (Admin Manual Order, Orders, etc.)

How can a user be Unarchived?

Easy, just go to the User Accounts screen and choose Unarchive Users

Then you can search for the user and Unarchive them, that’s it!

What does UnAuthorize a user do?

If you don’t want to delete the user and you still want them to appear on the listings (Orders, Admin Manual Order, etc.) and still receive Newsletters (Bulk Email) but you want to lock them out of their account, you can UnAuthorize them
