Rockdale Youth Soccer Association, located in Conyers GA, is a very well-run, established soccer club that offers both youth and adult programming throughout the year. One of their best assets is having unlimited access to an indoor facility located right next to their outdoor fields.

With so many program offerings, the staff and volunteers were working overtime to manage all the growth and to keep accurate tracking of their financials. A lot of manual hours were put in the past couple of years trying to use the GSSA ADG State System and frustration starting to rise.
After sitting down and reviewing all their processes as well the amount of time spent using ADG and their own manual effort, the Board was pleased to know there was a better long-term service option which just happened to be located right up the road.

That says a lot about the club to have two former players involved in the day-to-day and in shaping its future. They knew when shown the right service that it was time to upgrade and cut out so much of the manual work every season.

As for our action plan, RYSA’s new Blue Sombrero Account Manager will be helping the staff launch their new Sombrero REG service in the next few days in time for their 2012 Spring Registration Season. About Rockdale Youth Soccer Association
Rockdale Youth Soccer Association was founded in 1972, as there was no organized soccer in Rockdale County. In 1971, Bob Boggus and Larry Ginder traveled to Dekalb County for their children to play soccer. In February, 1972, a meeting was arranged with Dwight Langley, Bob Boggus, and Larry Ginder to explore the possibility of Rockdale County starting a soccer program. There was no interest at that time. Larry Ginder then placed an ad in the Rockdale Citizen to register soccer players. Forty-six children were registered and RYSA was born.
