Scheduling Blackout Dates
Posted by Shaina Horrell on 09:30
Scheduling blackout dates is a great way to plan ahead when creating a schedule to make sure that no games are scheduled on specific days, such as holidays. There are three ways to schedule these dates:
To Schedule the blackout dates by location:
Schedules→ Locations and Fields (Step 1) → Add Location (add a name) → Add Field (add name) → Open Optional Settings → Edit Blackout dates.
This will prevent the scheduler from scheduling games on the selected field for the selected dates.

You can also schedule blackout dates for the entire scheduling group:
Schedules→ Scheduling Groups→ Create/Edit Scheduling Group (Step 2)→ Open the Optional Settings→ Add Blackout dates.
This will prevent the scheduler from scheduling games for this group on the selected dates.
You can get more specific and add blackout dates by team:
When creating a “Pairing With Date Time and Field” Schedule you can enter the specific dates by team that you want to Blackout.
Scheduler→ Scheduling Events (Step 3) → Create Scheduling Event→ under Automation Level choose Pairing with Date Time and Field→ under Team Blackout dates choose the team, enter the date and click add date.
This will prevent the scheduler from scheduling any games on that date for the selected teams.
