Order Tracking Made Simple

Here at Blue Sombrero we help simplify the process of the fulfilling orders by automating all of the steps. One great aspect of collecting orders online is that you can easily track them. For example, a parent may call with a question about an order that he/she submitted. An admin can quickly log in, pull up the order in question, and answer any questions the parent might have.


There are a couple different ways an admin can do this. The first way is to go to the Admin control panel at the top of the screen and navigate to Orders –> View/Edit Orders. This is where you can search for an order by number or  customer name. Enter the Order# in the correct field and click on View Details. This will allow you to see the details of the order, payment that has been applied, and much more.




Another way to track orders is by seeing a list of all open balances. You can do this by going to Orders –> Open Orders in your Blue Sombrero control panel. Open Orders will give you a list of all of the orders that still have open or pending balances. From there you can filter by order number, date, account name, payment status or open balance amount. You can also receive or refund a payment from here.




The third, and final, way to quickly track an order is to use the control panel to navigate to Common –> Quick Search. Quick Search enables an admin to search in a number of ways, two of the most common are Account Name or Order #. Once you have searched, you will see a snapshot of results including the order history. You can click on the My Account button to navigate to a specific account.
