Blue Sombrero is the leading provider of Online Registration and Web Design for youth sports. The company was founded in 2002 with the intention of giving back to the soccer community and helping clubs run more efficiently so that the administrators can spend more time and energy inspiring kids to love the game rather than bury themselves in paper.

CEO, Founder, and Atlanta native, Erik Stadler grew up playing soccer. He played through the youth ranks, NCAA Division I soccer at the College of Charleston, and was lucky enough to play professional soccer and do some serious globe-trotting: playing in Poland, Israel, Switzerland, Italy and back home in the USA. Once he retired from his short but fun professional soccer career, he had a very brief foray into the "real world" and hated it!  Returning to his passion, Erik started Nacional Soccer, doing camps and clinics in the Atlanta area.  In order to keep from being bogged down in paperwork, Erik and Nacional Soccer developed their very own website and online registration and management tools. As Nacional Soccer’s clinics were becoming more and more successful, they kept fielding the same question over and over, “We love your clinics, but we’d love a website and online registration system like you have, can you do that for us?”  The light bulb turned on, and Blue Sombrero was born!

 Ten years later, our customers come from all over the U.S., and are represented by many different organizations within youth sports (soccer, baseball, football, basketball, lacrosse, volleyball, summer camps, church leagues, and the list goes on). We have hundreds of partner clubs in more than 40 states.

Our passion for youth sports is evident in all that we do.  We consider our customers are our partners, so we don’t hide anything from them. All of our features are listed on our website, complete with descriptions, screen shots and videos. Our pricing is also available to the public on our website - no hidden fees, no contracts and no surprises.

We charge a fair price and take pride in providing the best service in the industry, with free enhancements and upgrades and the best features available. We are constantly evolving and our customers are a huge part of that evolution, giving us feedback and enhancement requests that help us add new features on a regular basis.
